Here are few of the important releases which we can expect from Microsoft in this year.

Lets start with the most important one

Windows 7 – After the first beta hit the market, Windows 7 has impressed a lot of people and PDC pre-beta has impressed almost everyone.

Windows Azure : Fully launch it and make it a big success. Show us this is more than just a late second entry into the cloud market and really smash this one out of the park. We know it’s one of Ozzie’s top projects and Microsoft has been dropping some serious $ change to build data centers.

.NET Framework 4.0 : Developers are waiting to get hands on it

Visual Studio 2010 :  After an impressive 2008, visual stuido is heading to its 2010 version. We will love to have it.

Office Communications Server : Long awaited.

and finally the rumored Windows Mobile 7
