• Candidate should be certified on the firewall products being quoted as well as on Cisco-NAC.
• Should have good knowledge on implementation and its functionality of security products in a heterogeneous environment.
• Should be able to monitor remotely all the products at different locations.
• The engineers should be Checkpoint (CCSA) or Juniper Certified.(JNCIA)
• Should have knowledge of Cisco Mars, CSM, ACS & CSA.
• Should be a BE/B.Tech/MCA or above

Development:

• Must Have had extensive  hands-on experience in C programming
• Development  exprrience on a RTOS (VxWorks, Linux, Nucleus) based network switching / routing platform essential
• Must have worked on at least one of the following:
  (1). Layer 2 LAN protocols like MSTP, RSTP, PVST, LACP, VRRP
  (2). Layer 3 protocols like RIP, OSPF, BGP, Multicast routing – PIM-SM, PIM-DM, DVMRP, IPv6
  (3). Layer 4-7 protocol optimization
  (4). MPLS, FIPS
  (5). High Availability Features
  (6). MAnagement Plan – SNMP, Web server, CLI
  (7) Development of networking ASIC drivers

Testing:

• Manual testing / automation experience on network switching / routing platform essential
• Must have worked on at least one of the following:
  - L2 Protocols like STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, 802.1X, LLDP, LAG, LACP
  - L3 Protocols like RIP, OSPF, ISIS & BGP
  - Multicast Protocols – IGMP, PIM-SM, PIM-DM, Multi-VRF, MSDP, IPV6 Multicast
  - IPV6 – RIPng, OSPFv3, ISIS, BGP4+
  - MPLS- LDP, MPLS-TE, IPoMPLS
  - Network Test tools like Spirent Test Center, IXIA, Smartbits
